Step back from the reality of the real world by unwinding and relaxing in the tranquil and peaceful environment of Burgsdorf. The large garden with beautiful trees, grass and water makes this place a real oasis in the middle of nowhere.
The historical old farm house built in German colonial style, from natural stone dressed and fitted into perfection makes the farm house the center of attention. Burgsdorf has a rich history dating back to 1899. The name of the farm Burgsdorf comes from the 'Hauptmann' Von Burgsdorff who was the commander of the Gibeon district at that time. Burgsdorf served as a police station and a resting place for people on their way traveling south on horseback or ox-wagon. As it still is today for modern man on self-drives or organized tours.
